STORM, Features

You might remember a while back, we made it easier to search for your websites in STORM and see whether they were live or suspended. You just typed in the name and you’d see a quick description next to the website, telling you its current status. Handy right?

Well, now we’ve gone one step further, introducing a traffic light system instead of descriptions, so you can see at a glance what’s happening. Each website will get a coloured dot next to its name, and you can hover over the dot if you'd like any more details. For example…

Green

Means your website’s live for the whole world to see. Go, go, go!

Amber

Means your website’s live on STORM but suspended or password protected so nobody else can see it. This might be because you’re doing some development or waiting for your client to pay an overdue bill. Once that happens, you can go live again in one click .

Red

Means you’re not live on STORM. That might be because your website’s DNS is wrong or needs updating, or because the domain doesn’t exist .

Here’s how that looks on screen…

We’re turning our time-saving traffic lights on right now, so look out for an all-new, clear and colourful website list, coming your way.
