Working on a website as a team? Today’s update makes it easier to track what’s happening, flag up issues, tasks and bugs – and ask specific people to tackle them. Let’s take a look…

You’ll find our new task and bug tracker in the issues area of your dashboard. Open it up and you’ll see an up-to-date list of all the tasks and bugs for that website, as well as a big blue new issue button that lets you add a note, create a task or flag up a bug.

Get super organised

To keep things running like clockwork, you can give each new issue a tag, colour, title and description, making it easier to manage what needs to be done. It’s a great way to make things super clear for your whole team – and help clients see the big picture.

Assign tasks instantly

You can also assign tasks to individual team members, who’ll get a notification letting them know what you need. Just make sure they’ve turned their notifications on by going into notifications and clicking ‘Notify me when I get mentioned in a note’. You can even add a deadline, helping to keep complex projects bang on schedule.

Check progress at a glance

If all that wasn’t enough, whenever you open up the tracker, you’ll be able to sort the issues you see by team member, completed or still being done, and type of issue. It’s all about making teamwork easy, and helping projects run without a hitch. Pretty handy stuff.

Here’s what to do

  • Pick a website from your dashboard
  • Click on the issues button
  • Open up task and bug tracking
  • See all current tasks, bugs and issues…
  • …or click new issue to add your own
  • Choose to create a task or a note
  • Tick the box if you’re flagging up a bug
  • Give it a tag, colour, title and description
  • Assign a team member and set a deadline

Here’s what it looks like
