If there’s one communication platform creatives love, it’s Slack. And we’re with you all the way. It’s smart, it’s simple, it’s intuitive… what’s not to love, right?
Which is why, from today, we’re giving you the option of getting your STORM server alerts on Slack. It’s pretty handy if you’re already using Slack with your team, plus it’s more secure than email – and there’s no risk of messages getting stuck in your spam folder.
If you’d rather stick with emails, no problem – and no need to do anything. We’ll just keep emailing you like usual. Don’t worry, your emails for websites, users and other STORM notifications will come through as usual, but if Slack alerts sound right up your street, it only takes seconds to turn on. Just go to the configuration tab on your server and click the “Add Webhook” button. Then enter your webhook URL and give it a name! Super quick and easy.
If the word ‘webhook’ is new to you, we have a guide on how to set one up for Slack right here!
